Short Film.

First:
We gathered the equipment that was needed to conduct the recording of our video. The equipment used was a recording tape, a tripod, and a HD Sony video camera. After doing this our tutor gave us a scene to act out, the scene was that of an action scene/mugging.

 

Second:
After we did this, we went out filming as one big group and then shot some scenes, cut a ways and filmed some still shots. There were two people recording and directing (Myself and another Media student) and three people running/doing a chase scene (Also Media students). When we had finished recording and getting the scenes we wanted, we went back and edited it on Final Cut to get a short film. We each edited it ourselves.









Third:
Whilst editing all the clips on Final Cut that we had filmed, we created a series of small sections that made a short film when put into order; my video. First of all, I used a FireWire cable to connect the video recorder and the imac together. After that I Then I edited the video by double clicking the original unedited video and then checking it to see if it had captured properly.
